Watch: 15-year-old football recruit bench presses 225 pounds for 31 reps

Watch: 15-year-old football recruit bench presses 225 pounds for 31 reps

Even though he isn’t slated to play college football until 2018, Florida State recruit Robert Cooper is already turning heads.

The 6’3”, 350-pound junior defensive tackle commit is a 4-star prospect out of Georgia, and he appears to already have the strength of an NFL-ready player.

Cooper posted a video on Twitter from 2016 when he was a 15-year-old sophomore at South Gwinnett High School, benching 31 reps of 225 pounds in the gym:

For some quick context: In 2016, only six players at the NFL Combine—again, college players looking to go pro—could bench 225 pounds more than 31 times. In 2015, only 10 players were able to reach that mark, according to SB Nation.

The record on the bench press belongs to Oregon State’s Stephen Paea, who made the list of our 11 strongest, most ridiculously athletic NFL combine performances of all time with an astonishing 49 reps on the bench press.

If Cooper keeps this up and plays well once he gets to Florida State, he could end up challenging Paea’s combine record.

Kanye Is Debuting YEEZY Season 5 at New York Fashion Week

As expected, Kanye will be taking the opportunity to debut his new YEEZY Season 5 collection during New York Fashion Week. The show is to take place at Pier 59 Studios at Chelsea Piers Wednesday, February 15, at 5 p.m., in between events by Anna Sui and Thom Browne.

West’s YEEZY Season 4 showing at the bottom half of Roosevelt Island wasn’t exactly welcomed the way one would hope, so it will be interesting to see how the musician/designer bounces back this time around.

For some of what you may see from YEEZY Season 5, take a look at what we predict will happen.

This $90 wristband zapped away our VR nausea

New Atlas tests a wearable that claims to reduce or cure nausea and motion sickness, pitting ...

Before we’d tried much virtual reality, we imagined most VR experiences would involve physically sitting while virtually moving. Unfortunately, though, those kinds of games can trigger nausea for many (if not most) people. We recently tried a wearable that claims to reduce VR sickness by sending little electrical pulses into your wrist. After getting shocked by the Reliefband, we were a little shocked to find that it worked.

iPhone 7 Plus is Most Popular ‘Plus’ Model Apple Has Released

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, released in September of 2016 alongside the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone 7, is the most popular “Plus” model Apple has released, outselling the 2014 iPhone 6 Plus and the 2015 iPhone 6s Plus.

Apple’s Plus lineup has always had differentiating factors compared to the smaller iPhones Apple offers, but in the iPhone 7 Plus, the dual camera appears to have been particularly popular with customers. The iPhone 7 Plus features both a standard wide-angle lens and a 56mm telephoto lens, which can be used to improve photos.

It also features a “Portrait” mode that’s used with the 56mm lens to create high-quality DSLR-style images with blurred backgrounds to highlight subjects, a unique function that may have drawn more interest.

Customers may also be getting used to the larger form factor in general. In 2014, with the switch to the 4.7 and 5.5-inch sizes, going from the 4-inch iPhone 5 line to the 5.5-inch size was a huge jump, but with two years to adjust to the new display sizes, it’s not such a leap.

Cook said that Apple had underestimated demand for the iPhone 7 Plus, leading to supply and demand issues with the device that impacted sales. Despite that, Apple saw record iPhone sales during the quarter, selling a total of 78.3 million iPhones.

On One: Keke Palmer On Steve Harvey Is Quite Peculiar “Get It?” [Video]

Keke Palmer has had her share of Bossip articles lately. The young starlet went on Steve Harvey and the interview gave Steve the opportunity to try on his “You Crazy” face. Going from her pants pattern to disliking Kate Winslet, Keke seems to be mad at “Rose” from Titanic.

Looks like Keke had to turn on the “urban” to get the ladies to laugh in the crowd, huh?
