A battle between rival drug cartel factions in Mexico’s northern Chihuahua state left at least 26 dead and injured, officials have confirmed, in the latest series of violent incidents that have sent the country’s murder rate soaring.
Chihuahua state officials say the shootout occurred in the hamlet of Las Vargas, deep in the rugged Sierra Madre mountains, where the illegal drugs business has deep roots in the local community and economy.
SZA has finally announced a tour in support of her latest album, Ctrl. The TDE songstress is hitting the road starting mid-August, and will most likely make stops to your city between then and mid-December.
SZA announced the dates on both her Instagram and Twitter pages, even sharing some art and SZA tunes to go with it. She will be accompanied by St. Louis rapper Smino, as well as R&B singer Ravyn Lenae on the tour.
But according to the source, Chyna is getting worse from Rob that we haven’t even seen!
“This is the tip of the iceberg of what she’s dealing with every day. She’s had to have a new phone number every month and constantly has to change her number. While everyone is writing stories and thinking it’s fun gossip, it’s actually dangerous.”
By Ahmed Aboulenein and Karin Strohecker CAIRO/LONDON (Reuters) – Four Arab states refrained on Wednesday from slapping further sanctions on Qatar but voiced disappointment at its “negative” response to their demands and said their boycott of the tiny Gulf nation would continue. Qatar earlier in the day accused Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt of “clear aggression” and said the accusations cited when they severed ties a month ago “were clearly designed to create anti-Qatar sentiment in the West”. The four Arab nations accuse Qatar of supporting terrorism and allying with regional foe Iran, which Doha denies.
Kelly Clarkson doesn’t suffer trolls. On Tuesday, the American Idol alum nonchalantly shut down a body-shaming comment on Twitter.
“Thank u 2 every person in service 4 protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom & independence,” Clarkson tweeted on the Fourth of July. While most of her followers responded with their own stories of family members or loved ones in the armed forces, or tweeted their thanks to Clarkson for her sweet message, one person seized the opportunity to offer their non sequitur opinion.

In a handwritten prison letter expected to bring over $100,000 at auction, Tupac Shakur confesses to Madonna that he ended their brief romantic relationship because of her race.
“For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career – if anything it would make you seem that much more open and exciting,” the rapper wrote in the note, dated January 15th, 1995 at 4:30 a.m. “But for me, at least in my previous perception, I felt due to my ‘image,’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was. I never meant to hurt you.”
In the note, Shakur admits that Madonna shattered his ego when she remarked in an interview, “‘I’m off to rehabilitate all the rappers and basketball players’ or something to that effect.” But the MC also apologizes to the singer, confessing, “Like you said, I haven’t been the kind of friend I know I am capable of being.”
The rapper adds that he’s “grown both spiritually and mentally” – no longer the “young man with limited experience with [an] extremely famous sex symbol.” He extends an offer of friendship and asks Madonna if she’d agree to “speak face to face.” “It’s funny,” he writes. “This experience has taught me not to take time for granted.”
Despite its overall reconciliatory mood, the letter includes several ominous stretches. “If there is any information you can share with me regarding Jack and crew, please do,” Shakur writes. “It could very well be a matter of life and death.” He also warns Madonna to “please be careful,” using his past as evidence of the world’s cruelty. “Everyone is not as honorable as they seem,” he continues. “There are those whose hearts bleed with envy and evil. They would not hesitate to do you harm! Let my 5 bullets be proof of that!”
Shakur died on September 13th, 1996, six days after being fatally shot in Las Vegas in a drive-by shooting.
