The 2015 Rugby World Cup takes place in England this fall, and Wales, the fifth ranked team in the world is in serious training camp mode ahead of the sport’s most prestigious competition. Anyone with even a passing interest in the sport knows the dudes who play at the international level are complete beasts. Right now the squad is in the middle of a 15-day mini-camp in the Swiss Alps where they are undergoing a rigorous strength and conditioning regime at high altitude.
Our friends at Wales Online filmed a few clips of the drills their country’s finest are going through. Check them out, the first being some explosive bench press work:
Some more benching, this time using the close-grip technique (if you look in the background, there seems to be some serious circuit training in action):
This drill is focused on balance, mobility and strength:

Vince McMahon trains up to seven days a week, sometimes doing two-a-days if he knows he may miss a session due to his grueling schedule. He rotates through a split of chest, shoulders, arms, legs, and back (which is his strongest body part and favorite to train).
“On the bent-over row he can do 315 for 10 reps,” says Mike Monteforte, McMahon’s trainer and workout partner. “He has unbelievable strength in his back.” After completing a body part, the two will then do a CrossFit-inspired workout consisting of battling rope slams, sled drags, sledgehammer swings (with a hammer named Big Jack, an allusion to the AC/DC song), and sprints. After that—yes, there’s more!—he does a circuit of ab exercises. The whole training session takes 90 minutes.
McMahon does most of his exercises as giant sets, performing them in groups of three. He’ll perform 20 to 35 warmup sets first, then do one set for each exercise in the group before resting. He’ll do the same for all the other groups in the workout, then he returns to the first group to increase the weight and decrease the reps before repeating the cycle. He rests while Monteforte works and vice versa. Below is a sample back day.

Book Description “A sharp, perceptive novel about family and forgiveness, Whiskey & Charlie will stay with me for a very long time.” Christina Baker Kline, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Orphan Train
A captivating debut novel of brothers who have drifted apart and the accident that will determine their future, by an unforgettable new voice in fiction.
Whiskey and Charlie might have come from the same family, but they’d tell you two completely different stories about growing up. Whiskey is everything Charlie is not – bold, daring, carefree – and Charlie blames his twin brother for always stealing the limelight, always getting everything, always pushing Charlie back. By the time the twins reach adulthood, they are barely even speaking to each other.
When they were just boys, the secret language they whispered back and forth over their crackly walkie-talkies connected them, in a way. The two-way alphabet (alpha, bravo, charlie, delta) became their code, their lifeline. But as the brothers grew up, they grew apart.
When Charlie hears that Whiskey has been in a terrible accident and has slipped into a coma, Charlie can’t make sense of it. Who is he without Whiskey? As days and weeks slip by and the chances of Whiskey recovering grow ever more slim, Charlie is forced to consider that he may never get to say all the things he wants to say. A compelling and unforgettable novel about rivalry and redemption, Whiskey & Charlie is perfect for anyone whose family has ever been less than picture-perfect.
“A finely crafted novel that keeps us reading because we care about the characters. It’s a terrific book.”—Graeme Simsion, New York Times bestselling author of The Rosie Project and The Rosie Effect

Teresa’s attorney James L. Leonard stated in a previous interview:
“As far as prison goes, she’s maintaining. She’s adjusted well, she has a routine and she just takes it one day at a time. She’s spending more time outside. There is a track so she’s been walking and running on the track a lot.”
Well that’s good to hear.
We’re glad to see that the whole family seems happy — especially after those pesky rumors that Joe had Samary Graulau as a side piece while his wife served time.
Unfortunately, the Fabulicious! author isn’t expected to be released until the middle of December — and we’re more than ready to get all the details about her time “inside.”
Nonetheless, we’ll be able to read about Teresa’s whole story when she pens her upcoming memoir. We bet it’s going to be juicy!
As always, our thoughts are with Teresa and her family during this difficult time.
