One of the most buzzed about features of the new iPhone X is the facial recognition which allows owners the ability to unlock their devices by simply looking at them – boasting a one in a million chance that someone else could bypass the security.

But just how precise is the facial recognition? Both Mashable and The Wall Street Journal attempted to see if they could hack the system by employing unique “bugs” like identical twins, fraternal twins, photos and even silicon mask replicas which look straight out of Hannibal Lecter’s closet.

From the amusing tests, we discover that identical twins are in fact interchangeable when it comes to iPhone X facial recognition, but other methods are not as successful.
