South Park made its return to the airwaves last night with the premiere of its 21st season. It was an episode that centered on the disturbing rise of white nationalism in America, and it also happened to contain an absurd cover of Kendrick Lamar‘s “HUMBLE.” by the hillbilly character Jim Bob. “HUMBLE.” has been one of the best-selling and most-acclaimed songs of the year. The lead single from Kendrick’s excellent fourth album DAMN. became his first number one as a solo artist on the charts, and its instantly-iconic video just cleaned up all of the major categories at the MTV VMAs.
